At Gravitee.io, our Solutions Engineering team helps customers solve complex challenges with tailored, innovative solutions. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be a trusted technical advisor to prospects and existing clients, guiding them through their digital transformation journey and helping them maximize value from Gravitee's platform.

What you will be doing

• Drive Technical Sales Success: Partner with Account Executives to lead the technical sales process, demonstrating Gravitee’s value and transforming prospects into successful customers.
• Understand & Solve Customer Challenges: Conduct discovery sessions, deliver impactful product demos, lead PoCs, and provide expert technical guidance.
• Support and Grow Existing Accounts: Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Technical Account Managers to ensure current customers maximize value and identify growth opportunities.
• Foster Strategic Partnerships: Engage with partners and service providers to explore new opportunities and technical collaborations.
• Shape the Future of Gravitee: Work with marketing, product development, and other teams to influence product evolution and contribute to content initiatives.

Essential skills

• 3+ years in a prior Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect or Solutions Engineering role for a B2B vendor
• A track record of providing solutions and engaging with technical customer personas
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present advanced technical topics and deliver tailored demos
• Experience in middleware technology, ideally within API management, IAM or integration
• Good knowledge of REST, JSON and XML
• Some scripting experience, ideally with Java or JavaScript/Python
• Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ability to design deployment architectures (HA, DR, etc)
• Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD processes and Linux
• Creativity to develop new material to help people discover and learn about Gravitee

Desired skills

• Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and APIs
• Understanding of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
• Knowledge of Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL
• Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI Agent frameworks or platforms
