Work on exciting New Product Introductions (NPIs).
Help shape the supply chain and drive quality, cost, and delivery improvement Key Responsibilities Source direct components for NPIs using engineering drawings and specifications.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, lead times, and quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to build accurate quotations.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Support cost reduction and inventory optimisation initiatives.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Track and report on sourcing performance and savings.
What Were Looking For Essential: Engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.) or equivalent hands-on experience.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Proactive and collaborative approach.
Desirable: Experience in procurement or supply chain (not essential).
CIPS Level 4 or above.
Familiarity with metals and precision components.
SAP or MRP/ERP system experience.
