Sprinkler Service Engineer – £40,000 to £45,000 – Sidcup (Field-Based)
Location: Field-based (office in Orpington)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 5:00pm
Contract: Permanent

Are you a skilled Sprinkler Engineer looking for your next challenge? We're recruiting on behalf of a respected fire protection company who are looking to expand their service team with an experienced Sprinkler Service Engineer.

This is a field-based role, attending a mix of residential and commercial sites, carrying out servicing and maintenance on sprinkler systems, including wet and dry risers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems (wet and dry risers)

  • Support Managers and wider team on-site as required

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Produce accurate service reports, detailing faults and remedial recommendations

  • Communicate effectively with the office team and clients

  • Work in full compliance with Health & Safety standards and PPE requirements

  • Represent the business with professionalism and a strong customer focus

? Requirements:

  • Proven experience in servicing residential and commercial sprinkler systems

  • Solid understanding of wet & dry risers

  • Familiarity with system changeovers and fire alarm interfaces

  • Strong knowledge of BS EN12845 and BS 9251 standards

  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
