Senior Product Engineer
on the
Payday
team (Enterprise features), you won't just write code – you’ll
solve business problems for our enterprise users . Your primary focus will be on
designing ,
building , and
delivering high-impact features
that address the needs of larger teams using n8n. You’ll
own features end-to-end
and work across the stack,
collaborating closely with Product and Design
to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. We’re looking for someone who brings strong engineering skills
and
a
product mindset
– someone who cares about user impact, focusing on
why
we’re building something just as much as
how
we’re building it. Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and deliver high-impact features for enterprise users on the Payday platform. Own features end-to-end, working across the stack and collaborating with Product and Design to translate requirements into robust solutions. Address needs of larger teams, ensuring scalability, security, and a strong user experience. What You'll Bring
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily building web applications or SaaS products. Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript. Experience with Vue.js or other modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular). Experience in designing, building, and consuming robust APIs (RESTful, GraphQL). Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL. Experience shipping features end-to-end in a product-driven environment with ownership from concept to deployment. Experience with modern testing practices and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Vitest, Cypress). Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams. Curious mindset, love of learning, and openness to feedback. Nice to have / Bonus points
Experience developing features for enterprise software (e.g., RBAC, Single Sign-On). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience contributing to or working with open-source projects. Familiarity with workflow automation concepts or platforms. Benefits
