You will engage with customers throughout the implementation phase of our solutions, ensuring that any system and supporting infrastructure designed and provisioned continues to meet functional and non-functional requirements. Working from a local AspenTech office and from company and customer sites across Europe as required, the successful applicant will provide significant input to project delivery excellence in support of utility customers in the electricity transmission and distribution industries.## **Your Impact*** Gather customer requirements for solution infrastructure architecture, scaling, and access.* Design and deploy solution infrastructure based on customer requirements within internal AspenTech environments for the purpose of factory acceptance testing.* Provide consultancy on software and system installation, integration, and testing for projects within customer environments.* Provide technical support to sales and proposals teams, including commentary on infrastructure requirements for preliminary scoping of customer solutions.* Provide advanced technical customer support beyond the implementation phase as required.* Develop data translation code that converts data from origin data sources to CIM and CGMES and vice versa, in accordance with best software development practices.* Undertake data translation code unit, integration, and acceptance testing as part of project implementation phase.* Conduct translation code reviews reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.* Contribute towards the creation of training materials and project documentation pertaining to the installation and operation of solution infrastructure.## What You'll Need* Degree-level or equivalent formative experience in software or IT related field.* 3-5 years of experience in solution infrastructure design, deployment, and management, preferably in related industry.* Experience with solution infrastructure and systems engineering, including communication protocols, multiple operating systems, extended control systems, configuration of networks and systems, advanced troubleshooting.* Proficiency in computer programming; Java and/or React preferred.* Experience with any of the following areas: electric utility operations, control systems, automation, client/server applications, APIs, web services, network communications, operating systems, algorithms, SQL and other database technologies.* Proficiency with using Git flows and related tools to support software development processes.* Practical understanding of energy transmission and/or distribution systems, including operation, control, and optimization.* Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to travel to domestic and international customer sites.* English speaking, writing fluency.* recruitment information such as your application form and resume, references, qualifications and membership of any professional bodies and details of any pre-employment assessments;* your contact details and date of birth;* your gender;* your marital status and family details;* your identification documents including passport and driver's license and information in relation to your immigration status and right to work with us;* information about your contract of employment (or services) including start and end dates of employment, role and location, working hours, details of promotion, salary (including details of previous remuneration), pension, benefits, and holiday entitlement;* your racial or ethnic origin;* any criminal convictions and offences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
