OverviewStaff Engineer, Development Lifecycle at Canonical.Lead our effort to get Ubuntu fit for applications in automotive, aerospace, industrial robotics and other highly regulated environments. Ubuntu is the world's most widely used Linux; we aim to make it the best choice for mission-critical systems in these sectors. We are investing in processes, engineering, tools and analysis, practices and people to meet regulation, compliance and certification demands. This role leads the transformation of these complex requirements into concrete outcomes, engineering excellence values, and practices across multiple projects and teams. You will shape and live Canonical’s ways of working, collaborating with engineering leadership to describe and implement continuous improvement processes and qualification requirements that support engineering quality standards. You will define methods to measure quality and use them to sharpen engineering culture.
