Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Staff Engineer with deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), specifically using Informatica MDM. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality MDM solutions that meet complex business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture.
As a technical leader, you will oversee the full lifecycle of MDM implementations - from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and support. You will ensure alignment with best practices and standards, and collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions.
Main Duties
- Lead the design and implementation of MDM solutions using Informatica MDM.
- Define and manage master data domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier) and ensure consistency across systems.
- Configure match & merge rules, survivorship logic, and hierarchy management within Informatica.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to enforce data quality and stewardship practices.
- Develop and test integrations between Informatica MDM and other enterprise systems.
- Promote and practice Test Driven Development and other delivery best practices.
- Monitor progress against deliverables and proactively resolve technical issues.
- Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure secure development and operations.
- Actively contribute to Scrum ceremonies and Agile delivery processes.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer across the team.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Address technical debt and recommend scalable, future-proof solutions.
- Ensure strong collaboration with delivery leads and foster a culture of trust and creativity.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, including configuration, data modeling, match & merge logic, and hierarchy management.
- Strong understanding of MDM principles, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Experience integrating Informatica MDM with enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in REST APIs and web services development.
- Experience with SQL and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL).
- Familiarity with development tools (Git, Maven, npm).
- Experience with unit testing and Object-Oriented Design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably GCP or Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps, JFrog).
- Familiarity with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Kibana, Heap, AppDynamics, GTM).
- Understanding of security frameworks and tools.
- Solid grasp of networking concepts (load balancing, firewalls, proxies).
- Experience with identity management frameworks (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
- Exposure to AI and machine learning applications is a plus.
