Working Arrangements
- Flexible Working: This is a hybrid role, primarily split between working from home (UK) and London/Bracknell Head Offices, with occasional visits to other locations as needed.
- Work Pattern: Usually attend the office once or twice a month; more frequent visits may be required depending on business needs. Offices are open 5 days a week for those who prefer more frequent attendance.
Compensation and Contract
- Salary: Up to £92,500 (depending on experience)
- Contract Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Embed within a product team to promote quality and continuous testing culture. Mentor team members in testing practices, review codebases, and contribute to pipelines, ensuring quality from development to production.
- Mentor junior members and support their personal development.
- Work with diverse stakeholders, requiring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Opportunities for leadership and people management roles.
- Continuously improve skills and stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience in native mobile app development for iOS and/or Android.
- Understanding of architectural patterns, CI/CD, testing frameworks (XCTest/XCUITest, Espresso), and mobile non-functional risks.
- Ability to write and review code, develop testing utilities, and automate checks.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Bitrise/Gitlab CI, GraphQL, BFF patterns, Microservices, Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), and mobile security testing.
