You should be well-organized, able to work to deadlines, respond to emergencies, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Reporting LineReports to: Contract ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair clients' mechanical and electrical systems and components.Oversee and review subcontractor performance during specialist visits or repairs.Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.Complete simPRO and instruction sets with detailed annotations and photographs.Keep logbooks for electrical, mechanical, and water systems, ensuring health and safety compliance.Report issues with statutory maintenance to supervisors and management.Maintain comfortable environmental conditions via HVAC systems.Respond to plant and equipment failures, fault find, and address BMS alarms.Identify and report hazards discovered during maintenance.Operate and manage plant systems, including startup, shutdown, fault finding, and efficiency checks.Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance.Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding maintenance activities.Record and document health & safety, compliance, and quality assurance activities.Assist in small installation tasks and maintenance as directed.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Skills & QualificationsCity & Guilds Level III or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines (essential).Completed 18th Edition I.E.E (essential).Additional desirable qualifications include BS 2391, IOSH, PASMA/IPAF, unvented hot water systems, and knowledge of various building systems.Behavioral CompetenciesCustomer-focused attitude and flexible working style.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Additional InformationMust be willing to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
