Oil&Gas / Offshore / Maritime / FPSO / Wind Renewables


Key Responsibilities

  • Structural Analysis and Design:
  • Perform detailed structural analyses for Oil&Gas assets using ANSYS or similar software.
  • Modelling and Simulations:
  • Create 3D finite element models (FEM) for complex marine structures.
  • Evaluate the effects of dynamic loads, such as wind, wave, and current forces.
  • Code Compliance:
  • Ensure designs meet relevant offshore codes and standards
  • Prepare documentation, calculations, and reports for client review and certification.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Project engineer naval architects, mechanical engineers, and installation leads.
  • Attend client and project meetings to provide technical input and ensure project alignment.


Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software, particularly ANSYS
  • Proficient with design codes such as DNV, ABS,API, AISC and Eurocode.
