A fast-growing structural engineering consultancy specialising in timber design is looking for a Structural Engineer to join its small, highly skilled team. The role offers a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, flexible working hours, fully remote working opportunities, a family-friendly culture and 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, with additional flexibility for personal needs. Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design solutions for timber projects, ensuring compliance with UK standards and client specifications.
• Produce accurate technical drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and specialist timber software (MasterSeries, iCalc).
• Work collaboratively with the Managing Director and Senior Engineer to meet tight project deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with project requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with timber structures in a similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of timber design software (MasterSeries, iCalc desirable).
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and Eurocodes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a small, remote-working team.
