Overview

Experienced Junior Building Structures Design Engineer. Permanent. London. Salary £36,000 – £40,000.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dedicated building structures team on a range of projects including stadia, hotels, multi-storey residential structures and artistic installations.
• Design using traditional materials (hand calculations and design software).
• Attend site meetings and design meetings; liaise with contractors as directed by senior team members.
• Develop into a project engineer as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Outstanding academic background (2:1 or better MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering).
• At least 12 months experience with a UK-based structural consultancy on similar projects as a design/graduate engineer.
• Eligibility to work in the UK long term (no sponsorship for overseas candidates).
