I am working with a client who was founded with an aim to provide an agile and flexible service to architects, designers, contractors and clients with an emphasis on design. The team are passionate about elegant and efficient structural engineering and design.


Job Title: Contract Structural Engineer – Building Structures

Location: Gloucestershire

Contract: 4 months | Outside IR35 | ASAP Start | Hybrid between office/ home/ site

Rate: £hour DOE


Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a leading consultancy on a contract basis, working on a range of building structure projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use). The role involves structural design, analysis, and coordination with the wider design team.


Key Requirements:

-Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering

-Strong experience in building structures (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)

-Proficient in design software (e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, ETABS, Robot)

-Good knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards

-3+ years UK experience postgrad

-Able to work independently and hit the ground running
