Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting role, with multiple positions, on offer to join a leading construction engineering firm as a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer, on a contract basis, outside IR35. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis, 3 days a week, from our client's Manchester office. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including working on a project centred around a nuclear fuel facility.\n\n-Competitive hourly rate ranging from £50-£60 (depending on experience)\n\n-Hybrid working arrangement.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n-Design and analyse structural systems that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations.\n\n-Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards.\n\n-Construct reports, drawings, and calculations using software such as Tekla, ETABS, or Revit.\n\n-Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice and throughout the project.\n\n-Manage planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\n\n-Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's ), with proven experience working on projects linked to this field.\n\n-Senior applicants must have, or be eligible for, security clearance.\n\n-Strong communications skills for client facing environments.\n\n-Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE.\n\n-Proficient in structural analysis and design software, such as Revit, Robot, Tekla, and STAAD
