Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you regarding a new opportunity with one of our top clients! The successful candidate will work in a permanent role, on a hybrid basis in London.

Our client is a globally renowned civil and structural engineering consultancy, focusing on a variety of sectors, creating extraordinary built environments.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and analyse structural systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulations.

-Perform structural calculations and assessments to support project delivery.

-Work with architects, contractors, and engineers to integrate structural elements into projects.

-Conduct site visits and provide on-site support during construction.

-Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and documentation.

-Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.

-Review design changes and recommend improvements.

Key Requirements:

-3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering consultancy or construction.

-BEng qualification or higher.

-Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles.

-Experience with reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, timber, and masonry.

-Understanding of sustainable design in structural engineering.

-Experience in assessing and reusing existing structures (concrete, steel, masonry, timber).

-Proficient in analysis/design software (Etabs, Strand7, Spacegass, RAPT, RAM Concept, SAFE, Mathcad, Tedds).

-Good understanding of BIM requirements.

-Ability to communicate and manage drafters to ensure compliant designs.
