SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER

ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time permanent basis, 37 hours per week.

Your main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supplier quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
  • Be recognised as a point of contact for Supplier quality issues in the Purchasing Team
  • Manage Supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Coordinate Supplier Scorecard reviews and share best practice across the Purchasing Team
  • Work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, engineering, and production teams to address and resolve supplier-related quality issues
  • Monitor and improve supplier performance through data analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the Suppliers compliance to regulatory and quality requirements within the business
  • Evaluate and approve suppliers through audits, quality assessments, and performance reviews

Who we are looking for

  • Is a focused, pro-active, dynamic individual, intent on achieving objectives with a key focus on attention to detail
  • Has excellent people and communication skills with the ability to work with, influence and challenge appropriately all functions at multiple levels to gain trust and engagement
  • Has experience in problem solving and the use of tools and techniques
  • Has previous experience of working in a Quality or Engineering role
  • Is able to lead cross-functional meetings
  • Is able to work independently and as part of a wider team
  • Familiarity of Aerospace Industry standards / requirements - AS9100/AS13100
  • Knowledge of Customer Supplier requirements – RR: SABRe, PWA: ASQR01, GE: S-1000
  • Previous Audit Experience (QMS, Process, Product)

You will work at ITP Aero from its site in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire under the guidance of professionals with extensive experience in the sector in a leading company in aeronautical engines and components that ranks among the top companies in the global aeronautical industry.

Working hours

Days – 37 hours per week working Monday to Friday core hours 08:00-16:12

Remuneration and benefits

  • Staff Grade: 8 – 9
