Support Engineer – Submarine Systems (Mechanical & Structural)

Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working Pattern)

Security Clearance: SC Clearable

Are you an experienced Naval or Marine Engineer looking to make a real impact in the defence sector?

We’re recruiting for a Support Engineer to join a growing team embedded within a key defence customer site. This role focuses on providing technical support, fault investigation, and authoritative engineering advice for in-service Royal Navy submarine platforms, including Astute, Vanguard, and Trafalgar class vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the technical query lead for mechanical and structural systems.
Provide expert advice on design, safety, maintenance, and operation of submarine systems.
Liaise with stakeholders across the Submarine Enterprise to resolve engineering queries.
Support areas including Safety, Design Change, Training, and Learning from Experience.
Attend customer support meetings and report programme updates.
