Support Engineer, Sheffield, £25K-£30K doe
Hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday/Clean Driver's Licence essential
Our client provides IT Services to their customers throughout the Sheffield area. They are looking for an experienced Support Engineer, with a wide range of skills/experience, to join their small team. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn is essential. This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in documenting processes and looking for ways to improve the customers experience. The role is very autonomous and you will be managing your own work load. This is a great opportunity to bring your experience and help shape and define the role.
What You'll Do:
Answering customer queries, telephone and remote support
Customer projects
Enhancements of internal applications
This would include:
PC upgrades Windows 10 to 11
Installations, server migrations, networking including cabling if small project, moving application on to SharePoint.
Technical skills:
Microsoft, Dos commands, Shell Scripting (PowerShell a bonus), Active Directory, Windows server (2016 and above)
Coding would also be good as they develop some of their own software
