System Design Engineer – Image Processing and Control
Location: Bristol | Salary: Up to £55,000 | Hybrid Working

The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping system requirements and translating them into actionable design and implementation outputs. You will collaborate across teams, guiding complex system designs, driving risk mitigation, and supporting technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do:
Manage system requirements, verification, and compliance against a fast-moving baseline
Generate detailed requirement sets and manage changes effectively
Support system requirement flow-down to design and implementation teams
Drive risk quantification and mitigation through trade studies
Communicate technical issues, architectures, and ideas clearly to stakeholders
Collaborate with partners, colleagues, and other departments to deliver high-quality outcomes
Contribute to the growth and development of the Systems Design team
