As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.What you will be doing In this role, you will:Apply systems engineering principles to investigate and resolve complex problems across safety, quality, customer and business requirements. Define and interpret technical requirements, product documentation and verification strategies across the full product lifecycle. Engineer and integrate complex systems (electro, fluid, thermal, mechanical), considering interactions from component to platform level. Develop innovative, optimised solutions using new technologies, managing risk in a highly regulated environment. Support validation and verification activities, including justification for release to service, and provide technical backing for in-service products. They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all rolesWe're looking for individuals who can demonstrate:A background in engineering, ideally supported by a degree or equivalent experience. Professional membership and working towards (or already holding) Chartered status is beneficial but not essential. Strong technical knowledge across design methodologies (e.g. V-model, Model-Based Systems Engineering, etc...) and cross-discipline concepts such as manufacturing, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, mechanical analysis, and product definition.The ability to analyse complex technical challenges, apply logical and innovative thinking, and make sound decisions balancing both technical and business factors. Familiarity with product integrity, reliability, and certification frameworks within highly regulated environments.
