About the Systems Design & Verification Engineer Role

This high-profile position supports the development and delivery of an advanced air defence system, working closely with senior partners and industry experts. As the successful candidate, you will assist with system verification, validation activities, and qualification strategies, helping shape vital capabilities for the Royal Navy.

What You’ll Do

• Progress system design verification and validation activities for the project
• Support the maturation of qualification strategies and design reviews
• Gather and collate evidence for subsystem compliance and certification
• Generate progress metrics and present updates to senior teams
• Identify and manage key risks, while advising on design and verification activities

Systems Design & Verification Engineer Skills and Experience required:

• Experience in systems engineering, particularly within the CADMID cycle, focusing on verification and manufacturing phases
• Knowledge of industry-standard systems engineering processes
• Awareness of system design concepts, with an appreciation for air defence, radar, and weapon systems is desirable
• Strong technical reporting skills and confidence working amidst ambiguity and multiple priorities
