Systems Engineer - SC Cleared – Portsmouth | Up to £55 per hour Inside IR35

IO Associates is seeking a Systems Engineer - SC Cleared for the Portsmouth site. You will join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role offers a chance to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation and space systems.

In this role, you will work alongside Lead Systems Engineers and Architects to define system architectures for upcoming UK MOD tenders, including Skynet Enduring Capability. Your scope will span the space, control, and ground segments across key MILSATCOM programmes.

PS: The Company can’t provide sponsorship, so only candidates with the existing right to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Define system architectures for upcoming UK MOD tenders in collaboration with Lead Systems Engineers and Architects.
• Cover space, control, and ground segments across key MILSATCOM programmes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Security Clearance (SC).
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Good working knowledge of MILSATCOM (Military Satellite Communications) infrastructure.
