Overview

Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 3 days on-site). Salary: Up to £55,000.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Engineer to join a growing team focused on delivering advanced land-based defence systems. This role offers a blend of hands-on experimentation, system studies, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, making a real impact on current and future operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between design and manufacturing teams, developing procedures that ensure equipment can be commissioned efficiently.
• Identify ways to simplify and automate processes.
• Support manufacturing builds, explore improvements, and contribute to studies shaping new hardware solutions.

Qualifications / Experience

• Previous experience in transition to manufacture, software deployment, configuration control, and hardware/software interface is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and tackle engineering challenges.
