We are seeking highly organized and motivated Systems Integration Engineers to join our proactive and innovative team.

This role supports the seamless integration of technology solutions in autonomous maritime platforms. The position is co-located between the UK and Kuwait, with approximately 50% of work time in each location. When working in the UK, the role is hybrid, with about two days per week on-site at our customer’s location in Southampton. The work pattern involves a monthly rotation between the two locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various technology solutions on maritime platforms.
• Provide systems integration support for electronics including situational awareness equipment, RADAR, video surveillance, sensors, and platform IT systems.
• Collaborate with teams in the UK and Kuwait to support vessels and equipment in the field and workshops.
• Work closely with vessel management to ensure assets and spares are maintained and operational.
• Assist in mechanically and electrically integrating company equipment.
• Follow operational procedures and maintain safety standards.
• Update maintenance records and document tasks.
• Participate in safety briefings and ensure equipment is fit for purpose.
• Maintain awareness of safety and operational impacts of changes.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Test and validate equipment onboard vessels.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment failures.

Qualifications

• BEng or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications, or related field.

Essential Skills

• Understanding of product lifecycle and systems engineering, including architecture, performance assessment, verification, validation, and certification.
• Experience with Maritime Mission Systems, including navigation, remote operations, and situational awareness.
• Proficiency in stakeholder requirements management, system verification, validation, and transition.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards for electronics systems, including COTS and bespoke software.
• Understanding of cross-domain requirements and interfaces.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in Maritime Systems Integration, preferably with electronics equipment.
• Experience with hardware and software engineering lifecycles.
• Knowledge of RADAR, remote maritime vehicle operations, maritime navigation, and situational awareness systems.
