About the Role:
Join the expanding Sea Ceptor Weapon Systems team and play a pivotal role in delivering verification activities across multiple customers, including both domestic and export programmes. Sea Ceptor is a high-profile, innovative maritime air defence system, and this role provides exposure to formal verification, certification processes, and multi-programme delivery.
Reporting to the Weapon Systems Design & Verification team, you will manage tasks, budgets, and activities to ensure all verification and validation work is completed to time, cost, and quality. You will also contribute to the of system compliance evidence, review subsystem outputs, support documentation creation, and maintain certification and modification registers.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver verification and validation activities across multiple programmes, managing tasks to meet deadlines and quality standards
Review subsystem outputs and evidence to enable system-level activities
Generate and maintain verification and certification documentation, including compliance matrices and product trials certificates
Manage non-compliance reporting and closure of review panels (e.g., regression test panels)
Support system-level certification and compliance evidence
Plan, prioritise, and execute tasks across multiple programmes, adapting quickly to changing priorities
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and build strong relationships across interfacing teams
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in formal Systems Engineering verification and certification processes
Ability to deliver across multiple concurrent programmes with changing priorities
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Proactive and flexible approach to task management
Knowledge and practical experience using DOORS
Appreciation of the full Systems Engineering lifecycle
What We Offer:
Salary: Up to £57,000 depending on experience
Company bonus: Up to £2,500 based on performance
Pension: Up to 14% total contribution (employer + employee)
