Location: Commutable to Wakefield (office based with some flexibility for hybrid working)

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus

Technical Engineer position dealing with the installation, servicing and maintenance of a range of aluminium systems
Offering front line technical support to customers, installers and internal staff
Provide AutoCAD drawings for projects and products
Carry out wind loading and thermal calculations when required
Carry out role, keep files and records according to our ISO9000 procedures and good practice
Production of manual page updates and technical bulletins when required
Production and delivery of training for in-house colleagues and external stakeholders
Carry out site visits and production of detailed reports and solutions for second-level support requests
Organisation and supervision of product manufacture for in-house and external testing

Must have engineering / design experience within the aluminium systems market sector
Experience with any of the relevant aluminium system houses
Must have AutoCAD experience
Sound understanding of technical calculations (bend, stress, deflection etc)
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Full UK driving license
IT literate (Microsoft Office)
Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills
