Join our team as a Professional Services Technical Engineer, where you will ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction by leading data transfers and supporting professional services projects. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our data migration tools, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless solutions for our customers.What You’ll Do:Lead and manage data transfers within the professional services teamMaintain and improve the .NET-based split tool for migrationsCollaborate with Customer Success, Product, Dev, and DevOps teamsPerform thorough pre- and post-migration testingGenerate accurate reports on migration outcomesTroubleshoot technical issues reported by customers and support teamsReproduce issues, identify root causes, and escalate complex problemsProvide clear instructions to customers for temporary fixesContribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and troubleshooting guidesEscalate critical issues to senior technical staff with detailed recommendationsWhat You’ll Bring:Strong SQL skills, including query writing and use within C#/.NETExperience with relational/NoSQL database testing and SQL Server Management StudioBasic C#/.NET programming and OOP knowledgeProven technical support experience, ideally in SaaS or software developmentFamiliarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk) and CRM tools like HubSpotWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Microsoft AzureExperience with TDD, BDD, and unit testing frameworks (SpecFlow, MS Test, XUnit)Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiencesStrong problem-solving abilities with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities effectivelyWhat We Offer:A base salary of up to £30,000 - £40,000 and bonusdepending on experienceModern town centre offices in Guildford, with opportunityfor ad hoc home working25 days holidayContributory pension schemeAdditional perks including; cycle to work scheme, staff discounts portal and Employee Assistance ProgrammeAt Person Centred Software, we’re leading the digital revolution in social care.
