Job Description:
This is a Field / Home Office based role open to candidates with a Process Engineering background in Papermaking, interested in developing their careers in a specialist role. Our globally recognized client offers custom-designed parts essential for the production of paper, tissue, and cardboard. The successful candidate will act as the link between the business and UK customers, spending approximately 2 days per week working from a home office.
The role involves responding to customer needs across UK paper mills, ensuring expectations are met. The working hours include travel time, and the TSR manages their schedule, allowing flexibility to take time back as appropriate.
Main Duties:
- Manage sales and orders within a dedicated UK area, fostering good customer relationships to strengthen current and potential business links.
- Identify new business opportunities and applications for existing products.
- Report market changes and trends affecting future business directions.
- Communicate technical and economic features of products and services to customers.
- Handle customer complaints positively and constructively, balancing company and customer interests.
- Conduct machine surveys on paper machines.
- Collect and analyze data from paper machines, providing advice on machine settings to optimize performance.
- Report customer needs and expectations to the Technical and Sales teams, liaising between customers and the company.
Industry / Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge of paper machines and processing.
- Process Engineer trained and/or qualified.
- Computer literate, capable of performing statistical data analysis.
Mobility:
The role requires travel across the UK. Candidates must hold a full valid UK driving license; a company car will be provided.
