The role of the Technical Sales Engineer

Formwork & Falsework and Temporary Works will involve: Hybrid field sales role, predominantly (80%) selling the hire of formwork and falsework and temporary works equipment (20% sale) Focus of the role will be on civil engineering/ civil infrastructure projects such as: rail, highways, bridges, sewage treatments plants and other concrete rebar projects Predominantly a new business development position, prospecting within a designated territory Working from home or the office, conducting site visits as required (will involve conducting virtual meetings via teams) Technical role which will involve some project management New business orientated Typical projects values from £10,000-£50,000 but can be £1m+ Meeting with customers and presenting solutions Typically targeting formwork reinforced concrete sub contractors, and occasionally main contractors on larger projects Initially you will have a modest revenue target of circa £200,000 year 1, and £600,00 year 2, but once established approx. £1m The ideal applicant will be a Technical Sales Engineer
