As part of the companies continued growth an exciting new opportunity has arisen within our internal sales department for a Technical Sales Engineer. The position will require the individual to work within a dynamic team, implementing their engineering knowledge within the working practices of the department. The successful candidate will be forward thinking, self-motivated, enthusiastic and be able to react quickly and effectively to opportunities that arise.
Duties of the Technical Sales Engineer include:
* ​Creating accurate estimates and quotations within requested timescales.
* Assisting and supporting the sales team.
* Customer liaison.
* Occasional attendance to site and customer facilities for enquiry or project discussion when and if required.
* Occasional attendance to industry related exhibitions as part of the sales team.
* To partake in suitable training when and if required.
* CAD drawing / 3d Modelling experience – (Not essential but an advantage).
* Such other comparable duties as may be required by the Sales Director.
Requirements of the role:
* Previous experience of estimating in an engineering/fabrication environment.
