With growth accelerating, they’re looking to add a Technical Sales Engineer to the team who can open new doors, re-ignite old accounts, and become a trusted partner to customers across the North of England.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Technical Sales Engineer, you’ll be field-based across the northern territory, managing your own schedule and ensuring maximum impact with both new and existing clients.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape customer solutions, influence technical decisions, and directly drive business growth.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nVisiting customers across the North of England for machine surveys and technical sales meetings\nAdvising on and selling motion control products and systems\nCreating accurate technical quotations with supplier collaboration\nRe-engaging lapsed and legacy accounts to uncover fresh opportunities\nTracking industry trends and identifying high-growth sectors\nManaging a structured CRM pipeline while supporting marketing campaigns\nAbout You\n\nExperienced Technical Sales Engineer or in a similar customer-facing engineering role\nBackground in mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical engineering\nStrong understanding of motion products (gearboxes, torque systems, inverters, drives, etc.)\nExcellent communication skills with strong commercial awareness\nIndependent, proactive, and confident, managing a field-based diary\nWhy This Role?\n\nThis isn’t just another sales role — it’s a chance to take ownership of a key territory, represent an innovative engineering brand, and be rewarded for both your technical expertise and sales results.
