Salary: £35,000 - £38,000

Location: Taunton

Shift: Monday to Friday 37.5

JDR is recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to work in a manufacturing site in Taunton.

The role: As a Technical Sales Engineer you must be highly motivated and technically astute Technical Sales Engineer to work within the Sales team. Identifying and engaging with potential clients Understanding client needs and providing tailored technical solutions Overseeing projects from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring high customer satisfaction Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., engineering, production) to align solutions with technical and commercial capabilities Producing estimates/quotations Account management Customer compliance management Export control management Post sales liaisons with customers Maintaining accurate sales forecasts Managing and attending exhibitions Visiting client site About you: As a Technical Sales Engineer you will have the following skills and experience: Experience in a technical sales role within an engineering or technical environment. Strong technical background, ideally educated to degree level in engineering or science. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. A consultative sales approach, able to identify needs and propose effective solutions. Strong organisational skills.
