Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading engineering business to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s equally at home with customers in the boardroom as they are discussing technical solutions with engineering teams.
Role & Responsibilities: From handling bids and proposals, to understanding customer needs, through to securing repeat business. Manage and grow key customer accounts while spotting new opportunities. Produce clear, compelling commercial and technical proposals. Lead customer contact during proposal and sales phases. Evaluate and manage risks (commercial, technical, and financial). Deliver against revenue, profitability and other KPIs. Influence strategy and contribute to long-term business growth. Working closely with internal teams, inspiring excellence, and ensuring every project starts on the right foot.
Skills & Experience: HND (or similar) in Engineering or Manufacturing would be desirable Proven track record in technical sales, business development, proposals, or bid management. Experience in securing profitable contracts and managing customer relationships. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Excellent communication and customer care skills. Experience in energy, oil & gas, or power generation sectors. Account management background with strong relationship-building skills.
