Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join an automation integrator who specialise in robotics and turkey project solutions.
The Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will cover the South of the UK. The successful Technical Sales Engineer will be based anywhere below Tamworth, ideally around Milton Keynes / Banbury, but not essential.
The Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will ideally have an HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical engineering with commercial / technical sales experience and the ability to sell engineering solutions.
Knowledge of robotic systems, industrial automation, cobots, etc. Working for either a manufacturer or integrator is beneficial. Also openminded on product experience if you have an engineering/technical sales background.

£45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday but bank holiday Company car Commission Laptop, mobile phone 5% Pension
Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role
Offer technical solutions visiting customers to understand their engineering requirement / application Develop relationships with a wide variety of clients across different sectors, including materials handling, paper, converting, printing, marine, medical, among others Approach lapsed customers/dormant accounts Build awareness of the company’s full product capability Selling robotic systems, collaborative robots, industrial automation and other automation systems. Understand technical requirements/ survey bespoke machinery Liaise with stakeholders and various engineering departments Working hybrid from home cover the South of the UK. Occasional visits to the office in Tamworth.
Technical Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements
Experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar Experience robotic systems, collaborative robots, industrial automation and other automation systems. Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in mechanical engineering with commercial / technical sales experience Ability to be self suffiecient, pro active and hunt for new business. A real business development mindset! Willingness to cover the South of the UK – based anywhere below Tamworth. Full UK Driving License
