Overview
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain security clearance eligibility to access UK Ministry of Defence establishments, working within ITAR and Export Control restrictions. Our contract at Brize Norton with the MOD provides a continuous service to cover 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the Royal Air Force to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft. An opportunity to join a team of Airbus Technical Services Engineers based at the customer’s facility, AirTanker, to support a fleet of 14 A330 MRTT aircraft. You will work closely with the customer’s CAMO and Part 145, contributing to the safety, reliability and availability of the aircraft, focusing on the avionic ATA chapters.
Responsibilities
- Assess Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Deliver technical solutions to the customer for related in-service issues.
- Contribute and make recommendations for the reliability of the aircraft.
- Work in an operational environment on aircraft.
- Apply knowledge of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Demonstrate knowledge of CAA/EASA Part CAMO and Part 145.
- Identify potential compliance risks and act with integrity to support the Company’s success and sustainable growth.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility to access MOD sites; work within ITAR and Export Control restrictions.
- Experience with operating aircraft and understanding of in-service support requirements.
- Knowledge of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Knowledge of CAA/EASA Part CAMO and Part 145.
- Willingness to work in a client site environment and travel as required.
