The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to engineers and customers to maintain and troubleshooting aircraft systems and structures.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification, including developing repair solutions and ensuring compliance with approved data.Work with customers’ CAMO and PART21 organizations to streamline the process of repairing and/or modifying the aircraft.Liaise with OEM to obtain technical assistance and data and be experienced in Technical requestsUnderstand the Boeing SMAL process to aid production and shortages.Review Service Bulletins, STC’s and AD’s to support planning and execution of customers work scope.Oversee repairs and modifications being carried out and liaise with customer’s engineering department whenever necessary to seek agreement or approval.Develop technical documentation and create work instructions in maintenance software systemSupport base maintenance team whenever requested during complex trouble shootings.Provide expertise in tooling and materials resources to planning, production and procurement teamsContribute to create and maintain a robust database and library of task cards in Willis ERPConduct training, and contribute to process improvements.Requirements3 years in a similar engineering position, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in aviationSolid knowledge of UKCAA & EASA regulations, Part-CAMO, Part-21 and Part-145Strong knowledge of aircraft structures and Structural Repair ManualsExperience with Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 aircraft is an advantageExcellent problem-solving, analytical, communication skillsRigorous and well organizedGood team player, flexible, autonomous, and proactiveExperience with Microsoft Office toolsKnowledge of aviation maintenance software, Tracking+ (RUSADA) is an advantagePractical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe maintenance practices.Why Join WASL?WASL also offers a comprehensive benefit package to its eligible employees.
