Walter Everett is a specialist recruitment agency, and we are currently supporting our client in the search for a talented and driven Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. You will be working hybrid 1- 2 days per week

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

Technology Administration and Operations

*

Deliver accurate and timely support for queries, incidents, events, and change requests.

*

Proactively monitor infrastructure and resolve issues.

*

Respond to and recover from incidents in line with service level agreements.

*

Carry out configuration tasks in compliance with technical and security policies.

*

Participate in an on-call rota to ensure 24x7 operational support.

Software Management

*

Perform maintenance on systems, including patching and version updates.

*

Support audits and capacity planning activities.

*

Analyse and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Project Support

*

Assist with project-related infrastructure changes and modernisation.

*

Create and maintain technical documentation for design, build, and operational procedures.

*

Support environment automation to streamline deployments and configurations.
