Job title: Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer

Location: Central London

Salary: £55k – £70k + benefits

We’re working with a client in Central London who are looking to bring in a Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to support a growing pipeline of high-profile projects.

This is a chance to take the lead on complex, challenging schemes from façade retention and propping through to formwork, falsework, and excavation support while mentoring junior engineers and being a key technical voice in the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading temporary works designs across major London projects
• Checking and approving calculations, drawings & reports
• Guiding project teams and mentoring engineers
• Carrying out site visits and solving live engineering challenges

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Civil/Structural Engineering degree (or equivalent)
• Chartered Engineer (MICE/MIStructE) or close to it
• Strong background in temporary works (demolition, civils, or construction)
• Confident communicator, proactive problem-solver
