We are recruiting for a Test Development Engineer to work for our client - based on the Isle of Wight. They are an established business in the Electronics sector and require someone to join them who will provide test engineering technical support to new and existing products.

The main duties will include: - Product Support - first line technical support for production test issues. Initial triage, diagnosis and repair of current test equipment and fixtures. - Test Equipment Design - Creation of test equipment including: development jigs, qualification jigs, manual test equipment and automated test equipment. - Maintain and improve documentation. - Support of current test equipment and software.

The ideal candidate will have: - Understanding of test principles and equipment. - Understanding of manufacturing processes and how to test their effectiveness. - Understanding of In-circuit test principles. - Experience testing switch mode power supplies or similar circuitry

The hours of work are 08:00 - 16:45 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 12:30 on Friday
