Test Engineer

Salary: Up to £40,000 Bonus Hours: Day shifts Location: Hook Key Responsibilities: Configure and operate a range of advanced test equipment and systems Execute functional, environmental, and performance testing procedures Diagnose faults down to component level and implement effective corrective solutions Accurately document test results, anomalies, and resolution actions Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation Ensure test equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for optimal performance Work closely with engineering and quality teams to enhance product reliability Comply with all safety standards and operational protocols What Were Looking For:

35 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing or engineering roles Demonstrated ability in fault diagnosis and component-level troubleshooting Industry background in SMT, aerospace, automotive, or electronics manufacturing Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and root cause analysis Experience with automated test platforms such as ICT and functional testers Familiarity with ISO standards or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous Why Apply?
