Overview Test Equipment Design Engineer | Aerospace Engineering • Tewkesbury • Permanent This is an excellent opportunity for an electronically biased test equipment design engineer to join a prominent precision engineering company within the aerospace sector. You will lead the design, build, and deployment of advanced test systems with the goal of testing advanced flight control components and systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to Verification and Validation activities, and provide hands-on support from concept through deployment. Responsibilities
Design and deploy complex hydraulic test systems Develop electronic hardware including circuit diagrams and PCB layouts Verification testing, calibration procedures, and integration activities Generate technical documentation and participate in design reviews Deliver user training Coordinate global installations
Background / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aeronautical) Prior experience developing test systems Proficiency in LabVIEW and Microsoft Office package Familiarity with DOORS, Subversion, JIRA (Preferred) Willingness to travel globally (Infrequent)
