Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and aspiring Scientific Service Engineers, who are looking to establish themselves within a reputable instrument manufacturer. You will receive extensive training in the repair and maintenance of state-of-the-art surface analysis instrumentation, and the opportunity to travel the world!
Focusing on high-tech, cutting-edge analytical instrumentation, you will travel worldwide to customer sites installing instrument upgrades, performing ad-hoc repairs, planned preventative maintenance and general customer support.
The ideal candidate will have a solid grounding in mechanical/electronic engineering and/or physics – knowledge of surface analysis instrumentation would also be beneficial but extensive training is provided. Excellent communication and team skills are essential.
This is a unique opportunity to work with complex technology in a customer-facing environment. You must be willing to spend ca. 50-60% of your time travelling globally. In addition to the travel requirements, a generous salary bonus, as well as daily subsistence allowance & expenses is provided.
