6 month contract – Inside IR35 Up to £55.56 per hour umbrella Mostly Remote – Circa 1 day per week on site Key Activities: Analyse and assess Electro-Mechanical Products for thermal performance against Systems Requirements using finite element techniques and classical hand calculations. Generate Finite Element Models and reports as per company requirements. Support the down selection of compliant solutions (including materials) based on an understanding of Industry recognised solutions for Thermal Management. Conduct thermal analyses of complex Products using Ansys IcePak. Advise/support on the development of mechanical thermal management solutions to achieve the desired Product Requirements. Generate mechanical solutions for harsh environments (Shock, Vibration, Temperature, EMC, etc). Design of engineering solutions considering all requirements including product quality, safety, reliability, testability, sustainability, etc. Mechanical engineering detailed design, including numerical calculations, tolerance studies, etc. Produce Manufacturing Data Packs in line with BS8888 including appropriate application of GD&T. Generate BoM within approve PLM system (Teamcenter). Contribute to reviews of Mechanical designs in accordance with business and industry standards. ...
