As a Thermal Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimisation of building and industrial thermal systems, ensuring comfort, performance, and environmental responsibility across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop thermal and HMV systems, including heating, ventilation, and cooling solutions for various environments.

Conduct thermal simulations, load calculations, and energy performance modelling.

Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to deliver integrated engineering designs.

Analyse system performance and provide recommendations for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.

Support project delivery from concept to commissioning, ensuring designs comply with all regulations and standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across new and existing systems.

Requirements

Proven experience working within HMV / MEP / Building Services environments.

Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.

Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or CFD software.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving approach
