While it would be ideal if you come from a buy-side application support environment, that’s not essential. You’ll need strong Python and experience supporting front-office financial applications. You’ll be given tools and support to pick up new skills and progress your career in terms of technologies and business knowledge, but you will need this core background within the front-office.

You’ll start on first and second level support issues and provide detailed analysis and basic troubleshooting for issues that will be escalated to level three. As you learn the systems and applications, you’ll be exposed to more level three issues with the potential to become a fully fledged SRE if you desire. Some overnight, on-call support is required – one week per month.

You’ll work with multiple teams on a trading floor environment, collaborating with SRE and Front Office teams. The role involves supporting a mix of in-house platforms (often requiring Python and SQL for automation and data gathering via APIs) and Front Arena. Front Arena experience is not required, but would be highly beneficial.

Key technical requirements include strong Python skills and Linux systems administration. Experience in front-office application support is also essential.
