Experience required…

Essential:

• Proven experience in drafting and processing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs)
• Ability to produce accurate TRO schedules and associated mapping
• Strong understanding of UK traffic legislation and statutory procedures
• Familiarity with local authority processes and public consultation requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Clear and professional written communication for legal and technical documents
• Ability to manage multiple TRO schemes and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience working with legal teams or solicitors on TRO-related matters
• Knowledge of experimental and temporary TRO procedures
• Understanding of parking policy and enforcement implications
• Familiarity with asset management systems and digital TRO platforms
• Ability to liaise effectively with councillors, stakeholders, and the public
• Awareness of accessibility and equality considerations in traffic orders
• Working knowledge of traffic signs and road markings regulations
• Competence in using GIS or mapping software for TRO plans
