Overview

Trainee Damper Engineer | Up to £32,000 | London and surrounding | Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week. The main purpose of this role is to assist the lead engineer in troubleshooting, maintain and repair smoke and fire dampers.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out the service of smoke, fire dampers and plant equipment with a lead engineer.


• Disassemble and reassemble damper equipment to check for worn or malfunctioning components.


• Provide technical support to customers and end users when needed.


• Seek technical guidance from more experienced team members.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence.


• Experience working with power tools.


• Experience working from heights.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. You may be expected to cooperate when requested to undertake a period of overtime and on the on-call rota once qualified. This role offers a company van and fuel card, Christmas shutdown, and 25 days holiday.
