Trainee Electrical Project Engineer

About the Company

We are a well-established manufacturer of low voltage (LV) switchgear, delivering high-quality solutions to clients across the UK. We are now offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join us as a Trainee Electrical Project Engineer at our St. Albans premises.

The Role

This is a hands-on training role designed to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical project engineering. You will gain valuable experience across different areas of the business, including time in our manufacturing departments and providing administrative support to our engineering team, before progressing into a full project engineer role.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and learn how to manage projects from contract award through to commissioning. Gain responsibility for both the commercial and technical aspects of projects. Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives. Assist in reviewing and selecting suitable electrical components. Work closely with draughting engineers and the production team.About You

A genuine interest in the electrical industry is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). AutoCAD knowledge is desirable but not essential (training provided). Willingness to learn, develop, and grow into the role. What We Offer
