Exciting Opportunity for a Traffic Regulation Officer in North Lincolnshire.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a delivery-focused Traffic Regulation Officer to join my client's established Highways & Transport team on a contract basis, supporting the delivery and legal process of Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) across North Lincs.

THIS ROLE REQUIRES 3 DAYS P/WEEK IN THE OFFICE

The main duties of the Traffic Regulation Officer are:

·Assess the feasibility and deliverability of proposed TROs in line with national and local regulations. ·Draft and develop TROs under the Road Traffic Regulation Act (RTRA) 1984. ·Liaise with Legal Services to ensure all TROs are legally sealed and compliant. ·Prepare and submit reports for the Executive as part of the decision-making process. ·Provide professional advice and support to internal departments and external stakeholders. ·Oversee the on-site implementation of TROs in collaboration with the Professional Services team. ·Monitor and interpret legislation, policy, and industry best practice regarding TRO processes. ·Respond to enquiries from councillors, MPs, and members of the public regarding traffic schemes. ·Support the maintenance and accuracy of TRO-related software systems and digital records. ·Carry out post-scheme audits to evaluate effectiveness and validity of implemented TROs. ·Manag...
