Job Role

A TSCM (Technical Surveillance Countermeasures) Engineer is responsible for protecting sensitive information and communications from unauthorized surveillance. They perform TSCM Services to detect and neutralize threats such as bugs, eavesdropping devices, and other forms of surveillance used to gather intelligence or conduct espionage.

Skills Required

Proven experience of TSCM and an ability to hit the ground running with global deployments Informed of current and emerging espionage threats, vulnerabilities, trends and report and share with the wider team. Develop extensive knowledge and experience of researching, handling and maintaining the TSCM equipment. Strong understanding of wireless and wired communication systems. Ability to use technical surveillance detection equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, NLJD). Familiarity with encryption technologies and methods of secure communications. Strong experience in the use of IT including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and data input onto databases. Ability to detect and analyze complex technical issues related to surveillance.
